Ingredients:

Creamy almond butter

Fruit puree

Sea salt

Cocoa butter or coconut oil

 

 Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the oats, amaranth, chia seeds, sliced almonds, dried cherries and dark chocolate;
  2. In a small pan on low heat, combine the almond butter, the cocoa butter and the honey. Once well mixed, add fruit puree and salt;
  3. Add the mixture into the bowl with the oats and combine;
  4. Lay a ½ inch thick layer on a tray covered with parchment paper pressing down on the mixture to make it more compact;
  5. Place in the fridge until firm, roughly 1 hour. Cut into a rectangular/bar shape;
  6. Enjoy your healthy and nutritious snack!

Yield: approximately 18 to 20 bars.

Storage:up to 3 weeks in the fridge in an airtight container.
